Assembly by Force
Deliberative Body - Assembly Hall
RISD Spring 2020, Advanced Studio, Professor Chris Bardt
The assembly hall is heavily influenced by the first two projects: a Drawing Machine and Vessel within a Vessel.
The concept derived from the drawing machine informs the vessel within a vessel which guides the design of the assembly hall.
This studio class was guided heavily through a thought process, how one can inform another.
Rather than focusing on the final design, we were encouraged to focus on our process.
This semester unfortunatly was affected by COVID-19. I commend my professor, classmates and critics for being able to still have a rigorous studio semester via zoom.
